Looking for something fun and free to do in Houston? Check out Discovery Green! This 12-acre park is located in downtown Houston and offers a variety of activities for visitors of all ages.

There’s a beautiful lake in the center of the park where you can go for a scenic stroll or take a paddle boat out for aspin. Discovery Green also has an interactive fountain, a playground, and a dog park.

In the evenings, the park comes alive with live music and movies in the park. Discovery Green is the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors and experience all that Houston has to offer.

The Rothko Chapel

The Rothko Chapel is a beautiful place to visit and it’s completely free! Located in Houston, Texas, the Chapel was founded by Dominique and John de Menil. The Chapel features 14 large Rothko paintings on the walls and a Barnett Newman “Broken Obelisk” sculpture in the center of the room. The Rothko Chapel is open to the public and it’s a great place to spend some time if you’re looking for something free to do in Houston.
